Oregon
Oregon was a great relief from Nevada, the logging roads were well marked and with cooler temperatures, it made the ride that much more enjoyable. Halfway through the state I decided to check and see how the welding was holding up from Colorado. To my dismay, there were 2 new brakes in the rear frame. Just too much weight. I located the nearest town from my map, Canyonville, OR. It was a 70 mile drive offroad, I made it there just before the local welder closed shop. I got a motel for the night and got the bike welded the next morning.

The rest of the trip was very enjoyable. I liked seeing the large coastal redwoods and the mountains. The state reminded my of Colorado, WITHOUT THE ROCKS.
