California
The California section is very short, only about 25 miles. A funny thing though, I think back when the powers that be were choosing state borders, they choose there states, and whatever was left was named Nevada. California changed instantly like Utah once I crossed the border. California was much more lush due to the small mountains that must keep in the coastal moisture. I drove through the largest ranch/dairy I have ever seen. Thousands of cattle and lots of vegetation, no wonder California is now the number one dairy state, happy cows make better cheese;)
